At Dan & Dav Investigation Services Pte. Ltd., our strength lies in the experience and integrity of our leadership team. Founded by David Ong and Danny Gan, the agency is backed by decades of combined expertise in law enforcement, investigations, and professional consultancy.

 

David Ong

David brings over 25 years of combined experience in policing, private investigations, and business management. A former Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) with the Singapore Police Force, he handled a wide range of civil and criminal cases before moving into the private sector as a Senior Consultant in a licensed investigation firm. His blend of investigative expertise and business acumen ensures clients receive discreet, professional, and results-driven services. David holds a Bachelor's degree from RMIT University and received his foundational tertiary education at Singapore Polytechnic.

 

Danny Gan

Danny is a retired Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) with more than 20 years of service in the Singapore Police Force. He has led multiple specialized investigation units, including the General Investigation Branch, Anti-Drug Unit, Foreign Offenders Squad, and Anti-Unlicensed Moneylending Squad. As a former OC Squad at the Home Team Academy, he also trained new investigators in law, evidence handling, and investigative procedures. His last appointment was Deputy OC Crime Strike Force at Hougang NPC, overseeing complex investigations and supervising investigative teams.

Our field operatives - Team Leader Azmi, Jamal, Mark, and Desmond - form the backbone of our investigative operations. Each brings years of hands-on experience in surveillance, undercover assignments, and intelligence gathering. Trained to blend into diverse environments, they conduct covert work with professionalism, discretion, and unwavering attention to detail - ensuring that every operation is executed effectively and securely.

 

Team Leader Azmi Bin Kasim

Mr Azmi Bin Kasim is a Senior Investigator with over 18 years of professional experience in surveillance and investigative operations in Singapore. He began his career as a licensed Private Investigator in 2003. His early work focused on motor injury claims, workmen’s compensation matters, and matrimonial investigations, where he developed strong field craft, discretion, and evidence-gathering capabilities. From year 2010 to 2022, Mr Azmi served as a Senior Investigator with Kokusai Security Pte Ltd. He has led and supported complex investigations involving insurance-related surveillance, commercial matters, custody cases, and matrimonial disputes.

 

Since 2023, he has joined Dan & Dav Investigation Services Pte Ltd, where he continues to lead and support sensitive, high-stakes investigative assignments. Mr Azmi is known for his operational discipline, professionalism, and deep understanding of investigative protocols and reporting standards.

 

Together, David and Danny lead Dan & Dav Investigation Services with a shared commitment to professionalism, discretion, and results. Their proven track record in investigations, coupled with strong leadership and operational expertise, ensures that every client receives solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.
